Muskeg Meadows Golf Club recently applied for and received a grant from the United States Golf Association.    This $30,000.00 grant will enable the extension of electric power lines to the golf course. 

"...The nine hole course, with artificial greens and wood chip fairways, hosts a junior golf program and instructional clinics for women and senior citizens.  It is the only golf course for 200 miles south and 500 miles north of Wrangell, Alaska...."
